BCAS Woodcock Walk

  • Teaneck Creek Conservancy 20 Puffin Way Teaneck, NJ, 07666 (map)

For a short time each early spring, American Woodcock take to the night sky to perform their courtship rituals. Join Bergen County Audubon Society and TCC at the park to see if we can witness this remarkable display. Meet in the parking lot off 20 Puffin Way at 6:30pm. Please note, the program will include a walk through the park at night, so flashlight or headlamp use is recommended.

BCAS offers two walks monthly at Teaneck Creek. Birders of all levels and interests are welcome to attend; guides will be available to help newer birders with bird ID. Programs with BCAS are part of TCC's year-round suite of free public programs.

Registration recommended. All ages. Rain or Shine.
Some trail sections are challenging for strollers. No restrooms available.

Meet in the parking lot at 20 Puffin Way. Start time is 6:30pm with an approximate end time of 8pm.
